You manually mark countries you've visited by tapping them on an interactive map. All your data is stored locally on your device using SQLite and Core Data - nothing is sent to any servers.
Absolutely. GlobeTrail stores 100% of your data locally on your device. We don't have servers, we don't collect analytics, and we never see your travel history. Your data is completely private and under your control.
No! GlobeTrail is a one time purchase in it's current form. No subscriptions and no ads. We believe great software should respect both your privacy and your wallet. Future features such as content sync and backup features may subject to charges.
Currently, the app stores data locally on each device. You can however export your data on one device and import on another. And we're exploring optional cloud sync features for future updates, but any such feature would be completely opt-in and optional.
We're launching on iOS first, with Android may following in the future. Both versions will have the same great features and privacy protections.
